Job Title: Product Designer

Job Description:

WeekendAways is seeking a talented and creative Product Designer with a keen eye for attention to detail and a passion for luxury accessories. The ideal candidate will have experience in the fashion industry and possess a deep understanding of high-quality materials, craftsmanship, and current design trends.

As a Product Designer for WeekendAways, you will be responsible for creating and designing luxury handbags, sunglasses, and other accessories for our discerning clientele. You will collaborate closely with our design, marketing, and production teams to bring innovative and high-quality products to market.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute creative concepts for luxury handbags, sunglasses, and other accessories that align with the WeekendAways brand and meet the needs of our customers.
  • Conduct market research and stay up-to-date with current trends in the fashion industry to ensure that designs are fresh, innovative, and competitive.
  • Create sketches, 3D models, and prototypes of new product designs to present to the design and production teams.
  • Work closely with our production team to ensure that designs are manufactured to meet quality and design specifications.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create product launch strategies, including packaging design and merchandising.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of materials, including leather, hardware, and textiles, to ensure that products are of the highest quality.
  • Manage product design timelines and ensure that all deadlines are met.
  • Maintain a keen attention to detail and ensure that all products meet WeekendAways’ high standards for quality and design.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in product design, fashion design, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in product design, with a focus on luxury accessories.
  • Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite and 3D modeling software.
  • Knowledge of high-quality materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

 

Job Title: Digital and Social Media Marketer

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Remote

Job Description:

WeekendAways is seeking a talented and experienced Digital and Social Media Marketer to lead our digital marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry and possess a deep understanding of digital marketing and social media strategies.

As a Digital and Social Media Marketer for WeekendAways, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive traffic to our website, and engage our customers on social media platforms. You will work closely with our marketing team to develop campaigns and initiatives that align with our brand and business goals.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies, including email marketing, SEO, PPC advertising, and social media marketing.
  • Manage and optimize our social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.
  • Collaborate with our content team to develop engaging and informative content for our website and social media platforms.
  • Analyze and report on key metrics, including website traffic, social media engagement, and email marketing performance.
  • Manage the development and execution of influencer marketing campaigns.
  • Work with our design team to develop graphics, videos, and other visual content for our digital marketing campaigns.
  • Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in digital marketing and social media.

Requirements:

Job Title: Intern

Job Description:

We are always looking for interns who are dedicated, creative, and eager to learn. You will be an integral part of our team, working on a variety of projects and tasks that will provide you with valuable skills and experience.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with product design and development, including sketching, 3D modeling, and prototyping.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the fashion industry.
  • Assist with product testing and quality control.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team on social media campaigns, email marketing, and other promotional activities.
  • Assist with day-to-day operations, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and customer service.
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
  • Provide general administrative support to the team as needed.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in fashion design, marketing, or related field.
  • Passion for fashion and a desire to pursue a career in the industry.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
